Default What skills are needed to become an Accounts Clerk?

High degree of numerical and analytical skills is needed to be successful as an Accounts Clerk. Apart from being comfortable with numbers, you will also need to possess good communication skills – both written and verbal. Must have a sound knowledge of working of financial mechanisms and businesses, he or she should also have an eye for detail. Good organizational skills and ability to manage different tasks and people at the same time are also helpful.

Being able to work in a team of diverse personalities and abilities to meet strict deadlines are other requisites. Anyone dealing with accounts is expected to have ethical standards, integrity and honesty.
