Default What does an Advertising Media Planner do?

Advertising Media Planners makes media buying plans to make campaigns reach maximum number of people. You will buy space or time in newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, etc. You will also make plans for other media exposure – from hoardings to mobile phone advertising. You will work with your clients to make sure their campaign goals are met. You will also conduct market researches, to identify the best media channels to reach the target audience. You will also plan the best time and occasion to place the ads to gain maximum exposure for your clients' products or businesses.

You will also build relationships within media houses to facilitate easy buying of advertising space or time. You will also work with a team of creative professionals, who conceptualise and develop campaign ideas and finished advertisements.
