Default Qualifications required to become an Advertising Media Planner

Employers will look at your personal qualities and ability to manage the business than at academic qualifications. However, you will benefit from qualifications like degrees, diplomas or certificate courses on advertising, media, marketing, business & management, etc. The essential qualities are creativity, quick thinking and problem solving skills. You will also require good levels of business sense to be successful in this area.

If you have the formal academic qualifications, it can help you get the interview call. Otherwise, you can join an advertising agency as an administrator or office staff, from where you can work your way up. If you show the talents, you can usually become a junior advertising media planner. There are several dozens of courses available for persons aiming a career in advertising. You can opt for diploma in marketing communications, advertising, etc.
