Default What skills are needed to become an Advocate?

The most important qualities you need to posses are communication skills. You also need to have a good knack of writing reports, public speaking and good research skills. Your ability to analyse a large amount of data is important. You will be working under pressure and should be able to manage the situations well. You will be working with confidential information and should respect the confidentiality of your clients. You always retain a professional demeanour and should be able to work under stressful conditions, without succumbing to emotional outburst.
