Default What skills are needed for an Airline Pilot?

Any airline pilot is a person with exceptional skills, which far exceeds normal level skills. You need to understand instructions from air traffic control and should be able to communicate clearly to aircraft crew and passengers. You need to have good spatial awareness, ability to read 2D and 3D maps, good hand eye coordination and an ability to work with the latest technologies. You also need to have the ability of staying calm and collected, even if it is an emergency.
