Default What skills are needed to become an Alexander Technique Practitioner?

You will need good levels of physical fitness, emotional control and ability to empathise with your clients. You need good control over your muscles and should be able to guide your clients about the right methods of postures, physical movements and the working of muscles. You will benefit from a genuine interest in helping people. You need good communication skills. You also need to possess good levels of logical thinking, and problem solving capabilities. You may also need to explain to new clients the working of Alexander technique and the actual benefits derived from the practice.
