Default What do Army Officers Do?

British army officers are assigned duties on national security, NATO and UN peacekeeping and army operations. Army officers will be required to deliver duties at combat zones, manage peacekeeping duties and deliver humanitarian relief at areas of natural disasters. Army officers can work at the combat zones or can support combat forces by delivering logistics, communications and healthcare support. The exact duties of an army officer vary depending on where he/she is posted and his/her position.

Army officers are required to oversee training and welfare of soldiers under their command. It is also the duty of the army officers to ensure operational efficiency, discipline, and career development of the soldiers. Depending on where you are deployed, you will be responsible for leading combat arms or supporting combat arms. You will be a commander if you are deployed at Combat Arm. If you are qualified as a physician, nurse, IT manager, etc, you will be delivering that services to support the Combat Arm.
