Qualifications required to become a Bailiff
More than academic qualifications, it is your general skills and experiences that matters most. You will need good levels of general education and a drivers licence. To become a certified bailiff, you need a Bailiff's General Certificate. For that qualification, you need to prove yourself as the 'fit and proper' person, who has no criminal or debt history. You also need to have good understanding of bailiff law. You also need to provide £10,000 as security bond. You can opt for the several home study courses that will help you with bailiff laws.
After you start working, you can receive induction training and in-house training. You also need to renew your licence once every two years.
