Default What skills are needed for a bailiff?

A bailiff needs to have a good understanding of the rules that regulate his/her job. As a bailiff, you need to be assertive and confident. You should also remain calm and should be able to deal with people of all backgrounds. There are times, when distressed people can get aggressive. You need good judgement skills, negotiation skills and tactfulness. You should also have a good ability to value the properties, when taking away from defaulters. You also need good driving skills, physical fitness and ability to work alone or as part of a team.
