Default Qualifications required to becoming a Bank Manager

There are different routes to the post of bank manager. You can join directly as a management trainee. You can also gain experience by working as a banker, from where you can get promotions to the post of managers. To join management training programs, you will need honours degree in business management, finance, economics, accounting, etc. Sometimes, there are also management training programs open for people from other streams – unrelated to business, banking or finance. Banking sales professionals with management experience can also go up to bank manager posts. Institute of Financial Services offers courses like Professional Diploma in Financial Services Management, Corporate Banking, Retailing Financial Services, etc, which can be essential qualifications you need.

Banking professionals and bank managers can also take up further training like BSc Hons in Financial Markets and Management. There are also other courses like MBA, which will further your qualifications.
