Default How much does a Barrister earn?

Barristers charge their clients based on the experience they have and the kind of cases they handle. Freshly out of college practitioners can earn £12,000 to £15,000 a year, whereas barristers with a few years of experience can earn up to £200,000 a year. Some extremely successful and high profile practitioners earn £750,000 or more a year. If employed by Crown Prosecution Service, you can earn £28,000 to £60,000, depending on your experience. These figures are intended as a rough guideline only.
