Default What Skills are needed to become a Barristers' Clerk?

Barristers' Clerk needs to possess multiple skills and of the highest levels. Barristers' Clerks need to have strong business acumen and should be able to attract and retain clients. Barristers' Clerks are responsible for recruiting junior barristers and moulding them into a specialisation. He or she should possess computer skills and a keen eye for detail. Good communication skills, people management skills and ability to chart out workloads for all the barristers in the chamber is another important factor. Good negotiation skills, ability to work for long hours and ability to handle people of different personalities are other requirements.
