Default What does a Bus or Coach Driver do?

A bus or coach driver transports passengers. They work on local routes, or long distance routes. Sometimes you may also drive bus to neighbouring countries. He/she takes the passengers safely through to the destination.

For local bus drivers, it is your responsibility to drive bus as per schedule, stopping at the designated stops, picking up and dropping off passengers along the way. You will also be required to collect fares from the passengers. Your responsibility can also include issuing tickets, checking passes and assisting passengers who need help.

Coach drivers would normally take longer routes, usually travelling between big cities or taking a touring party on sightseeing trips. You will also conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure smooth functioning of the bus.
