Default What Skills are needed to become a Business Adviser?

Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and a thorough understanding of market demands and the pros & cons of business processes are the essential prerequisites. A business adviser must be knowledgeable about the various grants and allowances available to start up businesses and should be able to clearly communicate the requirements, opportunities and possible risks.

Clear thinking, analytical prowess and clear communication can help business advisers at all levels. Should be able to use computer and internet, a business adviser also needs to work extra long hours, in the evenings and weekends. It is your own responsibility to identify the opportunities and approach various issues on a clear, logical fashion.
