Default Qualifications needed to become a Car Fleet Manager

You need to have good organisational skills. Experience in business management, secretarial jobs, administration tasks, etc can be helpful. You also need good IT skills. If you have experience in logistics or vehicle leasing, it can also be helpful. You can also join the fleet company as an administrator, from where you can gain the experience and qualifications to move up the career ladder.

You can also take variety of certificate courses that impart training in fleet policy, legal requirements, business & finances, etc. You can either take the structured training offered by your company or can get independent courses offered by different organisations – like the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM).
