Car fleet manager or simply fleet manager works at the office of a fleet company, facilitating smooth functioning of the company. They can work in small companies with a few cars or a large company with several dozens of cars, mini buses and buses. Their responsibilities can include scheduling services, arranging repair, organising staff, making sales and attracting new business, finding vehicles for purchase, making plans for disposing older vehicles, etc.

The responsibilities can also include using sophisticated computer programs to analyse efficiency of fleet operations. You will also look into the matters of service schedules and periodic maintenance. You keep yourself updated to the rules and regulation related to transportation and fleet management. From day-to-day operations to long-term management needs – they are all there in your responsibilities.
