Default What Skills are Needed for Civil Service Administrative Officer?

Good communication skills, organization skills, time management skills, attention to detail, etc are all important qualities for civil service administrative officers. They also will deal with sensitive information, which they should respect. Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with spreadsheets and database are essential. You will follow set procedures, and should be able to communicate clearly and completely when needed. You will work alone and as part of a team while delivering various responsibilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to meet deadlines is an essential skill you must master.
