Default What Does a Civil Service Executive Officer Do?

Executive offers are responsible for first level management in civil service sector. You will be working in any of the dozens of civil service departments or agencies. You will also be delivering services to the public and assisting government in implementing various programs. Your responsibilities can vary, depending on various factors like the department you work for. Your responsibilities can include managing teams of officers, training, etc. You report the developments and you oversee training to officers when needed.

You will be knowledgeable about relevant legislations and legal complexities. Sometimes you manage computer systems, databases and reports. There will be several officers under your charge and you are responsible for their training and periodic appraisal.
