Default Qualifications required to becoming a Clerk of Works

If you are degree holder in construction, electrical and mechanical with some experience in these industries then you can become a Clerk of Works. It is better to work as a trainee and work for these industries. There are many universities and colleges who offer foundation degree for this job. It also helps to enhance your career growth as Clerks of Works if you become a member of ICGWB, Institute of Clerks of Work of Great Britain. After you start working with any company or firm then it is good thing to take qualifications like NVQ Site Inspection at levels 3 and 4. It allows you to improve your career and contains units for monitoring contract, quality and progress, health and safety, manage the performance of teams as well as individuals.
