Default What does a Colon Hydrotherapist do?

As the name of the profession suggests, a colon hydrotherapist is a therapist who cleanse the colon and free it from toxic wastes. It is a practice that involves passing filtered warm water to the colon through tubes, rinsing the colon and helping the body get rid of accumulated toxins. A therapist also massages the person on pressure points. People seeking good general health and wellness are the clients. You will also advice them on diet, lifestyle and healthy practices. Sometimes you will need to refer your clients to physicians for treatments for health conditions.

You are also responsible for managing the treatment centre and equipments hygienic. You are usually self-employed and you run the practice as a full fledged business. Thus, you will also need to handle the marketing, administration, etc associated with running the business.
