Default Qualifications required to becoming a Colon Hydrotherapist

There aren't any specific suggestions or qualifications by the authorities. The Guild of Colon Hydrotherapists and the Association and Register or Colon Hydrotherapists are the two organisations in the sector, overseeing training and practice.

To be qualified, you need a degree in medicine or nursing. That is, you must either be a qualified doctor or a nurse. You also need two years of experience in this therapy. You can also benefit from a degree level qualification in alternative therapies like chiropractic, Reiki, etc. You need to pass a degree course which includes detailed study of anatomy, physiology, etc.

After you start practicing, you can get further qualifications on several specialities like anatomy, nutrition, cardiovascular, etc.
