Default What does a Colour Therapist do?

A colour therapist is someone who knows and uses the therapeutic value of colours. By exposing persons to colours, a colour therapist aims to cure his/her illnesses of various kind. This therapy is on basis of the theory exposure to different colours have different effects on brain, which leads to variety of physiological changes including production of hormones.

There are a lot of conditions like heart problems, depression, high blood pressure, etc cured or managed with colour therapy. The therapist chooses the colours after carefully studying the medical history of the person. He/she then exposes the clients to the colours through appropriate medium.

The therapist will also teach exercise techniques. He/she uses light and colours to bring positive effects to the whole body. The tools uses are coloured fabric, light and colour, coloured liquids, etc. The therapist also advises clients on colours for dresses, home decoration, etc.
