Default Qualifications needed for a Community Education Coordinator

You will need educational qualifications like a degree or diploma in further education and teaching, a youth and community qualification or experience, based on your employer. If you have degree in community education, education, communication, youth and community work, etc, it will be helpful.

Once you are in the job, you can join several short term courses, which keep you up to date to the latest trends and developments in the continuing education and community education sectors. You will also gain further knowledge of the kind of education suited for community members. Such courses are offered by different universities, all round the year. You can also join them as distance learning program. If you have a degree, you can also join post graduate programmes in community studies.
