Default What skills are needed to become a Construction Contracts Manager?

You will need a good understanding of contracts rules, processes, payment methods, construction related legislations, etc. You need to have a good understanding of construction standards & legal requirements. You need good levels of organisational skills and capabilities of managing multiple projects. You should also be able to nurture working relationships with people in the construction, legal, finance and other sectors. Good math skills and IT skills are essential. You will benefit from excellent communication skills, presentation skills and an understanding of health and safety issues.
