Default What skills are needed to become a Construction Manager?

You need good management skills and ability to work with people of all kinds. You should also be a motivating leader, with exceptional organising skills. You will also benefit from good communication skills, decision making capabilities and good levels of IT/Computer skills. You also need a good knowledge of building methods, building regulations, health & safety issues, etc. You also should be able to manage the project professionally, to make sure the project gets completed within allocated timelines and within budget constraints.
