What does a Coroner do?
A coroner is a judicial officer, responsible for looking into the causes of unnatural-suspecting deaths or violent deaths. As a coroner, your responsibilities can include investigating deaths reported to you, applying logic and investigative procedures to ascertain the cause of death, order post-mortem when needed, etc. You will also conduct inquiries and note if it was not a normal death. You will also report the death to the Registrar of Births, Marriages and Deaths. You will also make sure the procedures are kept according to existing laws.
