Qualifications required to become a Court Legal Adviser
To work as a legal adviser, you need an approved law degree – at least class 2:2. If you don't have law degree, you can still qualify if you have a degree in any subject with class 2:2 plus a Common Professional Examination or Graduate Diploma in Law. Fellowship from Institute of Legal Executives can also qualify you for the job. After one of these qualifications, you need to pass the Legal Practice Course or Bar Vocational Course. After that, you can join as a trainee legal adviser, from where you can get promoted to Court Legal Adviser.
You will also have structured on the job training, which you need to take once every two years.
