Default What skills are needed to become a Customer Services Manager?

A customer services manager needs excellent people management skills, listening skills and communication skills. You need excellent communication skills, listening skills and organisational skills. You will also benefit from problem solving skills, decision making capabilities and ability to handle pressure situations. You need a professional demeanour and you should be able to retain calmness under pressurising situations. Your ability to handle difficult or tricky situations is another quality that your employers will value. You will also benefit from a genuine desire to help people, ability to learn new things and good levels of computer and administrative skills.
