You will needed excellent driving skills. You should also be aware of road safety related issues. You should be knowledgeable about the delivery area you handle. You will be working alone, and you should always have a professional conduct. You will benefit from good verbal and written communication skills. You will be preparing sales records and completing other paperwork. Sometimes you will be required to work overtime, late into the evening and on holidays. However, there are restrictions on the number of hours you can drive in a day or in a week, as your driving hours, speed, loading/unloading time, etc will be recorded.
