Default What skills are needed to become a Door Supervisor?

A door supervisor needs to have good levels of physical fitness and strength. Quick decision making capabilities, assertive communication, ability to quickly understand the situations, good customer service skills, ability to diffuse alarming situations, etc are all essential skills needed for a door supervisor. You should be able to manage crowds confidently and diffuse potentially violent situations with ease. You may need to use physical force for detention. The job of a door supervisor is not an easy task and you will need to deal with different persons. You must also be willing to working long hours into the night and during unsocial hours.
