Default What does a Dramatherapist do?

Dramatherapist uses the techniques of theatre to help people better manage their emotions and control their expressions. As a dramatherapist, you will be required to helping your clients to come to terms with their feelings and emotions. You will also help your clients develop their personality, creativity and self esteem.

You will help people develop skills of developing one on one relationships, better express their feelings, and to manage situations as they arise. You will work at NHS, local authorities, prisons, psychologists', hospitals, etc. You may also work independently. You may also work closely with psychologists, social workers, etc, helping people with different sets of emotional and communication problems.
