What skills are needed to become a Dramatherapist?
A dramatherapist should be able to quickly relate to people and should have good listening powers. An active interest in drama and theatres is a plus. You have excellent communication skills, creativity and imagination. You possess a flexible approach. You have good levels of emotional balance, and have a good understanding of the requirements of your clients. A genuine desire to help people is an essential skill. You will also understand the concepts of drama, psychology and social intuition.
