Default What does a Driving Instructor do?

A driving instructor teaches his/her students to drive safely on roads and to develop the practical skills needed to pass their driving test. You will teach all different aspects of driving a vehicle – safe turning, parking, basic vehicle maintenance, etc. You will also teach the lessons of road safety, traffic laws, and the skills for dealing with emergencies.

You impart lessons step by step, till the student is confident of driving in busy roads and managing busy intersections and roundabouts. Sometimes you will also need to teach the theory part of driving test. Others would also take the theory lessons on their own. You will also apply for a driving test on behalf of your students. In short, as a driving instructor, you help your students to develop the competencies of driving on motorways and passing the driving test.
