Default What Skills are needed for Estates Officers?

Estates officers work under extreme pressure conditions and hence management skills, prioritization and diplomacy are essential skills. Good communication skills, organisational skills, prioritizing work, math skills, understanding of statistical data, analysis of written communication, etc are needed. Also need is extended commonsense and observational skills, as you will be managing and overseeing examining of property. You will also understand legal documents and the provisions of agreements. Ability to work with an coordinate a team and ability to coordinate the activities of different departments according to the demands of the situation is also important. In short, an estates officer acts as a manager of property and oversee everything needed to ensure smooth functioning thereof.
