Default What skills are needed to become a Facilities Manager?

You need good management skills and customer service skills. You also need good organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to develop and nurture relationships are also important. You will benefit from good organisational skills, problem solving skills and decision making capabilities. You need good levels of IT skills, good understanding of building services, etc. Budgeting skills are also important. The ability to identify the requirements and to fulfil them is also important.
