Default What skills are needed for a Farm Manager?

You need good business sense and business management capabilities. You also need good levels of organisational skills, motivational skills and ability to manage staff. You need good communication skills, budgeting and financial skills. You also need reporting skills and should have good levels of computer/IT skills. Other qualities include willingness to manage the farm as your own business and willingness to do the works needed to get the works done. Good record keeping skills are essential, as you will be reporting the expenses and income to your employer.
