Default What are the Qualifications Required to Become a Farm Secretary?

Technical qualifications include accounting or bookkeeping qualifications accredited by Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). Secretarial, business administration tasks can also be helpful.

Apart from the technical knowledge, you must also have a good understanding of farm activities, crops, livestock management, etc. If you have experience managing crops or livestock in any way too can be useful.

Agricultural qualifications can include BTEC National Certificate in agricultural or farm management, can help.

Apart from the academic qualifications, you need hands on experience on farming techniques and a good knowledge of farming practices. You can also gain considerable knowledge and experience while on the job.
