Default What Skills are needed for Financial Services Customer Adviser?

Excellent communication skills are the most important skill you need to possess. You should also have good listening skills to understand customer requirements. Good customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure, willingness to work at odd hours, attention to detail and good computer skills are all needed. You will have professional conduct and willingness to help customers. Attention to detail, accuracy are also needed.

The ability to understand the requirements of customers and directing them to the products suited for their specific requirements is a skill. For this, you need to first understand the various products available for the customers and the ability to deliver them as and when needed.
