Default What does a Forklift Truck Operator do?

Forklift operators do loading and unloading of the goods from Lorries or aircrafts. Moving the commodities to and from the storage area or warehouse is also their duty. They move packed goods on pallets to the storage facility. They stack goods in correct storage bays according to the stock control instructions. They ensure the security of the gadgets and do stacking of empty pallets. They do daily equipment checking like battery recharging of the truck. They also offer by hand help to load and unload trucks. At times they perform warehouse tasks like packing also. Forklift truck operator works with various equipments like counter-balance trucks, telescopic handlers or side-loading trucks.
