Default What Skills are needed to become a Grants Officer?

The nature of the job demands excellent capabilities of analysing complex numerical data. You work to strict guidelines, have attention to detail, possess good organisational skills and have computer and administrative skills. Good communication skills are essential, as you will need to manage written and face to face communication. You communicate tactfully and diplomatically. You also need to have decision making capabilities and organisation skills. Honest and fairness, ability to work as part of a team or alone, etc too are important skills you must possess. Sometimes you will also be required to do presentations before a small or big audience.
