As a helicopter pilot, you need excellent concentration skills. You also need to have the ability to remain calm and collected at crisis. You will benefit from sound judgement and decision making capabilities. You will need excellent communication skills, especially verbal communication skills. You need to give instructions clearly. You also should have good listening skills. Good written communication skills are also important. You are responsible for the safety of the helicopter and the people in it and should be able to act with that levels of responsibility.
