Default What skills are needed for a Helpdesk Professional?

You need good knowledge of computer systems, software and installation of peripherals. You also need excellent communication skills, customer service skills and good levels of problem solving skills. Your ability to explain technical stuff to the non-technical persons is also important. You will benefit from good organisational skills, methodical approach and ability to keep accurate reports. You will also continuously update your skills.
