Default What skills are needed to become a Horticultural Manager?

An individual with genuine interest in plants and cultivation can perform very well. A thorough understanding of horticulture techniques is important. Organisational and time management skills are essential. Business sense and customer skills are necessary qualities. Budget management and negotiation skills are essential for horticulture mangers. Commercial awareness and understanding of market trends can be helpful. Computer awareness and IT skills are needed. Work planning and management skills are necessary for better performance. Communication skill is another required quality. Record keeping is an essential quality. Team working and leadership qualities are necessary skills of a horticulture manger.
