Default What does a Housekeeper do?

A housekeeper is responsible for managing staff and resources at a hotel. He/she is responsible for keeping the rooms clean. There will be support staff members, whom you manage to get the job done. You will thoroughly inspect the rooms and premises to ensure they are kept according to set standards. You will take note of any damage or fault and make arrangements for repairs and cleaning. You will also recruit and manage a good team of motivated staff members. You direct them to carry out the repair and cleaning tasks.

You may be working part time or in shifts. You will be working on weekends and holidays. You will also be knowledgeable about the standards to keep at hotels, spas, clubs, etc.
