Default What qualifications are needed to become and Insurance Broker?

Your experience in sales or working as an insurance technician can help. You can gain industry qualifications while you are in the business of selling insurance products. Different employers also seek different educational and experience requirements. In most cases, you can get into, if you are have GCSEs (A-C) in English and math. For management posts, you need A's or degree in business administration or related subjects. You can also join management trainee, if you have a degree in almost any subject.

Most of the skills and understanding you gain on the job. Your experience in handling administration tasks, marketing or sales can help while you work as an insurance broker. Apart from the educational qualifications, your communication skills, understanding of personal finance requirements correctly and a good understanding of the insurance products available in the market too are essential.
