Default What does a Licensed Conveyancer do?

A licensed conveyancer is a legal professional, helping with buying/transferring of goods and properties. Usually, conveyancing is applied to the process or buying or selling a house, a flat or land property. The lawyers are specialised in property laws and the laws related to land/property transactions. They help clients drafts legally binding contracts. You will work on behalf of your clients, advising them of buying/selling processes, researching the property, drafting contracts, paying taxes, etc. The duty of the conveyancer is to mainly ensure surprises don't come up during the transaction process. The legal professionals conduct their research on the ownership of the property, any future development projects that can up in the area of the property, preparing legally binding documents, arranging for payments of stamp duty and other taxes, and making sure parties concerned have signed and exchanged documents.
