Default What skills are needed to become a Management Accountant?

First of all, you need a good understanding of accounting and finances. Secondly, you need excellent computer skills. Analytical thinking is another important skill you must possess. Accuracy and attention to detail are important personal qualities. You will benefit from good communication skills & presentation skills. You will need to explain the reports you prepare. You must have integrity, reliability and good organisational skills. You will need to take input from variety of sources and process the data into information useful for investors and managers.
