Default Qualifications required to becoming a Meat Hygiene Inspector

A meat Hygiene inspector needs Level 3 Certificate in Meat Hygiene and Inspection of Level 3 Certificate in Meat Hygiene and Inspection. For this certification you should posses five GCSEs including Maths, English and science. Associate membership of the meat training Council or experience of working in meat industry is needed. Course completion requires practical work placements. Once you start the career you will learn training form experienced hands. A meat Hygiene inspector must have knowledge in anatomy, physiology, pathology, animal welfare, food hygiene laws and meat inspection. Practical training in slaughterhouses and factories are also helpful.
