Default What skills are needed to become a Meat Hygiene Inspector?

Meat Hygiene Inspector must be a knowledgeable person in veterinary science or meat industry. Physical fitness and stamina is needed. Good communication and observation skills are essential. Writing skills and capability to deal with difficult situations is required. Accuracy and attention to the minute details of work is a requisite. Awareness of safety and hygiene laws is a must. Social skills and readiness to mingle with people from different backgrounds are needed. Organised way of working is essential for record maintenance. Diplomacy, tact and firmness in decisions are helpful.
