Default Qualifications required to becoming a Member of Parliament (MP)

You must be a citizen with certain work experiences. More than formal qualifications your obligation towards party and its policies are counted. It is better to earn experiences through volunteering for the party. A researcher or case worker has added advantage for the poison of MP. You can be involved in student politics, work in trade unions or as a local councillor. For becoming a prospective party candidate, you should earn the support of your party and nominating officer. An MP candidate can also take an independent stand with out party support. Submission of nomination requires signed support of a minimum of ten electors from your supposed constituency. Along with that a deposit of £500 is needed which will be returned once you acquire more than five percent of the total votes. Nomination is followed by campaigning .You can be democratically elected through conducting meetings, public speeches, meetings and interviews. Continues effort for self development is needed for better performance.
